I kept getting confusing emails and never felt like anyone was really taking the time to explain what was going on. Every time I had a question, the answers were vague, like I was just being brushed off. I ended up feeling ignored and left to figure things out on my own.

I signed up thinking my points I’d actually be able to use for a free night here and there. But every time I look for the dates I need, reward nights are just not there. The weird part is the same hotels will have rooms available if you pay cash, just not with points. After saving them up, it feels kind of pointless and annoying.

The price seemed reasonable when I first booked, but a few extra fees showed up later that I wasn’t really expecting. I wish the billing had been a bit clearer upfront. Customer support was polite, but I didn’t come away with much of an explanation, so the whole thing felt a little frustrating.

"Trying to log in is way more frustrating..."
Trying to log in is way more frustrating than it should be. Some days my password works just fine, and then other days it suddenly says something is wrong and makes me reset it again for no real reason.
Even when I finally get into my account, the pages sometimes time out or send me right back to the login screen. The rewards are nice when everything works, but the account access is literally not reliable enough.

They did eventually fix my rewards issue, but it took, like, way longer than I expected. It wasn’t terrible or anything, just kind of slow and a bit frustrating

"Don’t really feel safe using my account"
I don’t feel too great about the security on my Wyndham Rewards account. I had a hard time logging in, and the whole password reset process felt kind of messy, and confusing, which made me start wondering how safe my info actually is.
Support didn’t really help much either, they mostly sent basic replies, and I never got a clear answer. Since this is a rewards account with personal details in it, I expected better, so I changed my password, and now I barely use the account at all.

"Points don’t feel worth the hassle"
I’ve been using Wyndham Rewards for a while, the points just don’t feel like they go very far. It takes a lot of stays before you get anything that feels useful, and when I’ve tried to redeem them, the options have been underwhelming.
The website can be a pain too, and I’ve even had to chase them over a complaint, which made the whole experience more frustrating. For a loyalty program, I don’t really feel like I’m getting much back, especially compared to other hotel rewards programs

"Booking only works when it feels like it"
I tried booking a room and the site was a pain. It kept freezing, kicking me back to earlier pages, and somehow my dates changed twice once they were in the cart. It feels like it only works when it wants to. I got so annoyed that I just gave up

I booked a room with two queens through Wyndham Rewards, but when I got to the hotel, they had me down for one king. Not ideal. The front desk did fix it, which I appreciated, but it took a while. Made check-in more frustrating than it needed to be.

Every time I check, my points don’t match what I should have earned. It’s really frustrating, especially when I contact support and just get the same copy-paste response back instead of someone actually looking into it.

"You really never know what you’re going to get"
Wyndham Rewards looks decent when you’re browsing online, but in real life, the hotels are just so hit or miss. Like, really hit or miss.
I’ve had one stay that was totally fine, then the next one had a weird smell in the room, old-looking sheets, broken things, and staff who acted like it was no big deal. Same brand, same rewards program, but completely different experience every time.
At this point, the points don’t really matter to me if I can’t trust the place I’m sleeping. After too many surprises, too many bad surprises, I just stopped booking through them.

"Elite status didn’t really feel worth it"
I had elite status with Wyndham Rewards and, umm, I didn’t feel like it got me much of anything. There was no real upgrade, late checkout was supposedly “not available,” and the staff didn’t seem totally sure what the status even included. It kind of feels like you collect points forever and don’t get much back. I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to chase it again.

I cancelled my booking weeks ago and I’m still waiting for the refund to show up. Every time I contact support, they just tell me to keep waiting, which feels unfair at this point. If a company takes your money quickly, they should be responsible enough to return it just as seriously when a booking is cancelled.

In my opinion, the points just aren’t nearly as valuable as they used to be. When I tried to redeem them, the value felt really disappointing, and it made the whole rewards program seem kind of pointless to me.

I don’t remember every little detail of the promo now, but I definitely remember I was supposed to get points and they never showed up. Annoying, honestly.
